May 29, 2012 – Last week, Diamond Solutions, Inc. was proud to join the Small Business Administration and others in recognizing National Small Business Week. This annual event is a public-private partnership designed to honor the more than 28 million American small businesses nationwide.
As part of the week-long celebration, DSI Chief Executive Officer Earl Brown attended a White House reception to announce a new initiative to catalyze and support entrepreneurship among older Americans. The reception featured SBA Administrator Karen Mills, White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett and AARP CEO A. Barry Rand. This new effort will link 100,000 Americans over age 50 with small business development resources, including live workshops, conferences and mentoring programs.
“Small businesses like DSI make invaluable contributions to the health of our local, state, and national economies every day,” DSI Chief Executive Officer Earl Brown said. “We, at Diamond Solutions, are pleased to celebrate the accomplishments of small businesses across the country. We look forward to important innovations and new opportunities that may result from this initiative as well as other programs and initiatives to help small businesses continue to thrive and improve the lives of the people and communities we serve.”
